Investment Banking Brain Drain Continues

London-based hedge fund, Centaurus Capital, has hired top investment banker, Benoit d'Angelin, from Lehman Brothers, highlighting an increasing trend of senior bankers departing for hedge funds. One of Europe's biggest hedge funds GLG Partners, has hired senior bankers from both Deutsche and Goldman Sachs in recent months. Mr d'Angelin becomes Centaurus’ fifth partner. The firm manages $2.5 billion of client assets.
